Alone in this cold world

by believeinlove87   Sep 1, 2011

Alone in this cold world,
no one to turn to in her time of need,
willing to pour her heart out to anybody who will listen,
wanting nothing more then to be loved,
to feel wanted for once in this world.

Kicked to the streets,
he says I don't love you anymore,
you were just someone to occupy my time,
go find someone who cares,
because it definitely isn't me,
begging for him back,
he laughs in her face saying you're pathetic,
slamming the door shut.

Walking alone in the pouring rain,
shivering from the cold,
her tears turn to ice,
her heartbeat slows down,
shes finally giving up,
sees no reason to try anymore.

Alone in this cold world,
all shes ever wanted was to hear i love you,
you're the only reason my earth goes round,
to feel needed by someone,
but getting nothing in return but disappointment,
shes decided to give up,
end her life.

Crying out her eyes,
she doesn't care to write a suicide letter,
she ties the rope,
wraps it around her neck,
takes one last gulp of air,
& says goodbye.
