Im Somebody.

by Jess   Sep 2, 2011

Im a scared little girl, with a strong smile.
I am a rich man, that has no adventure.
Im a broken hearted women, just trying to be happy.
Im Somebody.

Im a kitten, that has no home.
I am a abandoned daughter, the streets I rome.
Im a prisoner, that has to many regrets.
Im Somebody.

I am a mother, who lost her child.
I am a father, who found a new fling.
I am a runaway, that just wants to go home.
Im Somebody.

Im a dreamer, whos dreams have run dry.
I am a stoner, who wants to get clean.
Im a freak, or so they say.
Im Somebody.

Im a teenage girl, that is 6 weeks late.
I am a grandma, who misses him so bad
I am a athlete, whos put under to much pressure.
Im Somebody.

Im a human being, with really no excuse.
So judge me all you want, but you never walked in my shoes.

Once again you have writen a poem with attitude! I loved how you said everyone was somebody no matter what walk of life they came from.

I also love this. You make excellent points and many people feel this way, so you are not alone. Through this piece you did put us in your shoes a bit, thank you for that
