Goddess of the Ocean

by xoxShorteexox   Sep 2, 2011

The Goddess of the Ocean calls to me; her waves crashing against the shore,
singing her melody of disasters and aquatic life beneath the surface.

She's become the mistress of my dreams; she calls to me and I come,
her unchanging tides pull me in for another swim into the icy blue water.

Her winds blowing through my hair so wildly as if to stroke my cheek,
her hands can be filled with a loving embrace or a disastrous accident.

She could throw me into a reef without a second thought of remorse,
she could have her dolphins help me back to the warm sandy beaches.

She chooses to do what she will to me; her decisions so unclear,
and those choices can leave me with frightful memories.
