I honestly did not realize what this was about until I read the discussions but this wonder is brought to such soft vitality. I love that last line- the use of "blush" and dawn and dusk give it purpose and a lasting beauty.

    Phenomenal!

Nicely worded. It is a good poem though it is short. It flowed good to.

    I gave it a 5/5

    Temps,

I really adored the description of this piece. I wouldn't know where to start when writing a poem based on this Wonder of the World however I found it extremely interesting that you wrote this more based on the description rather than incorporating the story behind it as well, it was a nice change. Knowing me personally I would of found myself connecting with the story somehow, I like your ability to keep things simple and focus on imagery rather than just getting carred away. Also was curious why you decided to place this in the nature section, if I didn't know what it was about I would of thought it the perfect spot however as I now do know I guess I am a little curious.

    Lovely read as always.

Beautiful is all I can say

    I see her -
    a moon-white dream
    dressed in domes of pearl
    with lace embroidered cheeks;

for she dazzles, a jeweled silhouette,
    arching with love towards skies
    that blush dawn to dusk.

Exquisite poetic beauty in this composition! is all I have to say, with a title equally eye-catching.

If it was the Taj mahal, I think the first stanza would have read something like this:

    I see it -
    a moon-white dream
dressed in a dome of pearl
    with lace embroidered cheeks
    a story of love
to be told for all eternity
