Hurt

I've heard you have a new girlfriend
It hurts but I'm over you
And why anyone thinks I should care
I don't know.

I let people in
And I'm hurt again.
I seem to be hurt all the time
Endless each time
All I wanna do is cry
And make you pay.

Don't worry if this sucks
It's just a vent
For ANGER felt.

What I fear
Has all come true
And now I'm left
Not to feel.

Ice cold heart
In an empty,
Dark consumed room.

My world is a desert,
Each crack a memory.
Only filled
With the ghost of me.

    I'm sorry girl,i know how all this feels. Guys always doin the good girls dirty,its not right.
    I loved this poem, the hurt just poured through, you shouldnt care but its just how us girls are built.

    love this stanza...shows how much you've been hurt & that now theres nothing there but the ghost of a hurt girl lingering wanting pure love w no hurt.
