Until Tomorrow (acrostic)

by Brittany C   Sep 3, 2011

Unbridled seas yowl out in sorrow
Never will they be the same, winters grasps it
Throbbing now to and fro are these dark tides
In their youth they were clean, nurturing
Life's not the same now because of us.

Trill of the shore birds is no more, silence
Over the beach the waves start to roll, rise
Making it to the buildings up the avenues
Rescue, there is no hope for it
Rearing up higher the sea rushes in
Our doomsday is here, threatening
Wreckage is all that's left behind, dreams dormant until tomorrow.
