Eyes closed unto you.

by Poet on the Piano   Sep 3, 2011

I will be everlasting
in your eloquence of kisses-
how we reminisce
love's un-denying wind
through embraces heights can't climb.

That summer, the world was impassive,
while we explored courageous
cities, and gave everything
for that moon of trust.

Winter comes back,
yet I am only welcomed
by your sacrifice of return
and the warmth you breathe.....
articulating
a single note of emotion
that flutters, opens
into a light like
no other promise.

Can you tell our angels
to bring us closer?
Impossible.

And like precious days
we'll keep blossoming,
never a moment
where we will stray
from that first passion,
where I learned
the vow of our destiny.

Don't open your eyes-
for our beauty cannot be seen
as bright as we wish,
but it will shine more
in our souls the more we keep
caressing what we believe in;
see that I am loving you
deeper than time itself.

Knowledge, is the beauty within. What matters to one, he keeps close.

I'm surprised nobody has commented on this poem.
It really is cute and speaks high volumes the your love.
The beginning really grabs the readers attention, the title itself caught my eyes.
It's so very sweet and magical.
Put a smile on my face as I was reading each line, I could also feel the love throughout and the end "Loving you deeper than time itself." Simply great, and splendid. Really made me feel the relation between this poem and my feelings for the one I long for.
