Pictures

Taking pictures is one thing I do enjoy.
Freezing something in one moment in time,
preserving memories of today for tomorrow.

Making a scrapbook with them
adding character, color, comments
to remind you of the past
when your own brain
can no longer form those memories.

Keeping loved ones long gone nearby
and can capture the beauty of nature.
They help to document important events
like your wedding, such a special day.

You dislike having your picture taken.
But always forgive the taker
for freezing your good moments in time.
