Single Dandelion

by believeinlove87   Sep 4, 2011

Sitting in the beautiful green fields,
trees every where you look,
she grabs the single dandelion in the grass,
closes her eyes,
wishing for true breath taking love,
she blows the dandelion,
sending the seeds drifting away in the air.

Putting her hands together,
she prays that her wish is answered,
wanting nothing more than to feel real love,
to always have someone there when she wakes up,
someone to pick her up from the ground,
when everything falls apart.

Looking up into the beautiful dimmed sky,
watching the shades of pinks & purples,
as the sun starts to set,
counting her blessings to see something this incredible,
the wind picking up the smell of the blooming trees,
wrapping around her in a sweet embrace,
she feels the happiest she's ever been .

Sitting in the beautiful green fields,
watching the sky change colors,
as the sun sets,
she prays god answers her wish,
hoping the single dandelion was her lucky charm,
to find everlasting pure love,
so that in time she can
watch the beautiful sunset with the one she loves.
