Cascade

Waves of ice aged glaciers,
erodes the roof of the world.
Plundering undeniable force,
kept secrets soon unfurled.

Chilled waters warm the skin,
deviant waves lull alert minds.
Talus entice unlikely winners,
razor rocks in place reminds.

Rocks legacies turn to debris,
melding, changing with the flow.
Rushing paths lay twisted ahead,
which way does it choose to go?

Deep chasms scattered around,
plateaus embrace all emotions.
Landscapes fade in the crowd,
hidden by the darkest ocean.

Alluring scents waft inwards,
intentions slither back out.
Life flows deep from within,
each etches differing routes.

Waves of ice aged glaciers,
erodes the roof of the world.
Plundering undeniable force,
kept secrets soon unfurled.

Simply beautiful. I liked the poem from begining to end. I liked the picture you created in my head as I read. Completely faultless. A perfect piece.

    What a beautiful poem(:
I love reading poems about nature. :3

I also loved how you began and ended the poem with the same verse, which always fits the poem very well.

    Deep chasms scattered around,
    plateaus embrace all emotions.
    Landscapes fade in the crowd,
    hidden by the darkest ocean.

^^ I absolutely adore this verse. It flows very smoothly (along with the rest of the poem) but it is just very wonderful.

    Beautiful image here!

    Great write, deserves a 5/5(;
