Unfold.

by Poet on the Piano   Sep 5, 2011

I've had so little a glimpse of you.....

through glass morphings
I find no clear distinction
between what I despise in myself
and the fear I sense in your eyes.

I've had so little a moment of you....

forgetting to live upon
beliefs of self-governance,
I depend on what you
move.....
how your eyes convey
tragedies
of love that never reached
full exhaustion.

I've had so little a second of you....

if once you'd ask
me to come rippling
through midnight,
then we would know
that time can lie,
and it is us who
move....

I've had so little a chance of you...

we desire those-
who defy deceit
and get better
at numbing
the improbable chance
of our love
ever being accepted.

You're near in spirit;
for it takes decades to
unfold the terrible heart
inside....
that controls
your free love.

I liked it. Though it isn't that easy to read/ follow.
Nicely worded and good flow though.

    gave it a 5/5
