One Sided Loved

I'm tired of being the only one trying to make us work

I've become a total gentleman, no longer a jerk

I do everything you want but get nothing in return

I really don't know how my fire for you can still burn

You are selfish and cold hearted I wish you could see

In order for you to do something I have to beg and plea

I want to cuddle and snuggle and that's a fact

You never want foreplay it's just straight to the act

You tell me you love me and I trust what you say

But if your words don't become actions then I'll be on my way

    I think we all feel that way in a relationship at least once in our lifes...... I think you captured the exact wordings perfectly. I know I've felt that way off and on in my relationship. I just never knew how to express it and I think you just did that.

    I liked this for many reasons, your rhyme theme was great, wording simple yet done with conviction. But most of all I liked the determination of making it right or moving on. I think we try too hard sometimes and in return only hurt ourselves.. Good job
