Beyond Repair

by Joseph Boadi   Sep 6, 2011

As the noonday sun shone clear
Our past sung a dirge and drew near
She's not least bit pretty
Pale and skinny dimmed by pity
Slowly awakened your memories in my sight
Leaving me tear soaked with fright
Sleep my lad sleep till tomorrow
Sleep and awake to grief and sorrow
Our love i always thought could have mended yet
But now much i can do than to forget
Unmoved by love's sweet song
Ignoring its harp i was once fond
I retire to my wet bed
Bearing in mind our love is gone and dead

I agree with the people that commented before, your choice of words is really good. I also thought that you described the situation well because I was able to follow your thoughts. You definitely have your way with words, well done.
