Will You Be My All?

by Jordan W   Sep 8, 2011

I have not desires of lust
I need someone to confide in
Someone to find comfort in
I need a shoulder to cry on
A beaming face to share a secretive smile with
A light in this perpetually dark world
A flower amidst the wreckage of my life
A beacon of hope for me to hold strong to
Will you be my blazing light?
Will you be my flower?
Will you be my one hope in this world?
If so then wrap me in your arms
Hold me tight
And let me breathe a sigh of relief
Let me shed a tear of joy
And let me show you a kiss of true unrequited love.

I can honestly tell you wrote this straight from your soul- it is beyond heartfelt and makes me know love is worth the wait, to know it is for so much more than passion, so much more than just desire....a sweet perfectly beautiful poem, showing we all want that friend who becomes somewhat of an angel in the end :)
