Until Then.

by Poet on the Piano   Sep 8, 2011

I'm leaving my footprints behind,
for I won't be walking along your side
as if you were a part of my daily life.
Shouldn't I wait for this one gift-
the arrival of it either committing
me forever, or teaching me
how easily I can chase desires.
But he will be the beginning
to the road I've been given,
it will be natural to exhale with him
and I won't even need
another breath of air to think....
for I'll know in my soul
God wrote His symphony
for our sole union.

Great flow, the words you chosen are perfect and hold your expressions of emotions and wonder within this guy. Very easy read, could feel the desire dripping upon every line, beautifully done.
