I lost you and i slip back into the darkness your face is

in a room with no light leaving me blind to guess what

you look like with your beautiful eyes and the way your

soft brown hair falls over your eyes the way your smile

could light up a room when i first saw you i knew

nothing about you but i did know that you needed a

shoulder to cry on and i was there for this marine cared

i chase your face into the darkness of my heart

knowing that the fire we had will never restart for this

marine love is gone but my heart will forever and

always remain yours.
