Our day trip

I loved it today going out for our little drive,
Not knowing where we was going or what time we'd arrive,

Having you sat with me as we went along,
You telling me babe that didn't feel wrong.

As we drove with my hand on your knee,
You wouldn't believe how happy that made me.

We finally found where we was going to,
Yes we got to that place they call B&Q.

Then we took a stroll around the store,
When we are together we have a laugh for sure.

Then we head off to mums to get some booze,
Oh what do you do its so hard to choose.

To your mum an brother I'm the new boyfriend,
If it was only for real an not just pretend.

Off we go back to town to get a takeaway,

You lay there and I stroke your head,
You fell off to sleep as if you was tucked up in bed.

I have to admit I did have a little stare.

Then we stand at the door its time for me to leave,
I want to stay so bad you wouldn't believe.

I don't want to leave no matter how hard I try,
Because I hate saying to you goodnight an goodbye.
