My Little Black Rain Cloud

by Lyssi Lori   Sep 11, 2011

You're just my little black rain cloud,
Happily floating above the tall trees.
You're only a little black rain cloud,
Clumsily bothering the honeybees.
Sometimes you feel like all you do is rain on parades,
But what you do is grow gardens, your rain aids.
Sunshine feeds them, dirt nurtures,
And your silly songs encourage them to grow.
And every flower needs a little black rain cloud,
Didn't you know?
So while you are floating around wondering where to drip,
Don't forget to stop by, even for a quick trip.
Because little black rain clouds help many so much thrive,
And their existence reminds many of why it's great to be alive.
