I'm Okay

I've spent years in darkness,
I've spent years in pain,
Struggling to survive,
With nothing to gain.

I've through hell,
Again and again,
Trying to get out,
While remaining sane.

I've past the last hurdle,
I've run the last mine,
I've come to the end,
It's been such a long while.

I've made it out,
I'm okay,
I see the sun,
Shinning everyday.

I've survived the worst,
And I'm still here,
I see the light,
And have nothing to fear.

I can go on with my life,
Move past the hurt,
Bury my sorrows,
And pat it with dirt.

I've spent years in darkness,

But it's fine now,
I can taste the rain.
