My shy stalker

Standing in the shadows,
Watching from afar,
Never getting any closer,
But never going far.

Always you know where I am,
You know me inside out,
You've watched me for years,
And will for years to come no doubt.

You never come and talk to me,
You just watch from where you hide,
I wander why you never try,
For a chance to be by my side.

I've noticed for a while now,
I've just been waiting on time,
To see if you will get the courage,
To finally become mine.

Some people say your a stalker,
I say your just shy,
People don't understand you,
I guess I realise why.

The day will come when you will,
Finally walk to me,
Look me in the eyes and speak,
And find out if we can be.
