I thought it was grate and i realy liked the way you said everything 5/5 keep up the work

I am going to be totally honest, this poem confused me in a lot of places, lol. I ended up coming up with my own sort of interpretation, though. This was my favorite part;

"How can we write our history without
the sear of remembrance....
the ashes, the consequence of believing
in color,"

It reminded me of 9/11, maybe because it's so fresh in my mind. The reference to the kite made me think of the flag, as we chase that (the American dream). I could be totally off base, but thats what I pulled, and I thought it was a very striking poem! :)

THIS IS A GREAT POEM.. I think you were trying to mix tokens of emotions and ideas into one poem.
