Broken Loves Pain

by believeinlove87   Sep 13, 2011

The world is better off without her,
just another empty soul roaming the streets,
a constant reminder of broken loves pain,
a hopeless smile,
a girl who doesn't think life is worth living.

Day by day,
she tries to find life's treasures,
searching for the beauty,
finding only handfuls of blood,
broken hearts scattered across the fields,
nothing but pain & death.

Enough tears to fill up the oceans,
heart colder then the north pole,
crack, crack, crack,
it starts to shatter,
already black soul is vanishing,
her life is withering away.

The world is better off without her,
shes nothing but a constant reminder of broken loves pain,
tears stream out her eyes all day,
all night blood flows out of her cuts,
she falls to her knees,
a knife in her hand,
she plunges it into her brittle chest.

No goodbye,
no suicide letter,
no i love yous left to say,
just an empty soul,
better off lingering for all eternity,
then having a breath to breathe.

I love this stanza; I remember feeling this way once before because I couldn't find life's treasures for so long until I found a way to save myself.

    Great work; amazing poem.
