Love Impartially

by Kips2.0   Sep 14, 2011

Everything around a man has an effect on him,
And the way he handles his circumstances,
Determines who he is going to become,
But I want to be what God wants me to be.

Man has flaws that cannot be hidden,
But Christ disregarded these flaws,
He knows His love could make man whole,
So He gave it to man unconditionally.

Since I'm not perfect,
I may not be the best you want me to be,
But by His sufficient grace,
I'm willing to be what He wants me to be.

He sees my various weaknesses,
Yet He calls me friend.
He knows my filth,
Yet He loves me as a son.

A kind word makes the heart rejoice,
An encouraging gesture uplifts a depressed soul,
Therefore judge no man for his shortcomings,
He may be willing to be what God wants him to be.

We are all human in the image of God,
There is absolutely no superiority,
And one thing always makes the difference:
We must Love all if not perfectly, but impartially.
