A valuable lesson

How do you come to stop loving somebody?
It's been said that you never stop loving somebody, you just learn to live without them.
When trying simply isn't enough, what do you do?
You have to do whats in best interest for yourself.
Don't waste tears on somebody who doesn't shed a tear for you.
I've found that the only thing to do is move on.
It might hurt but in the end,
your past teaches you a valuable lesson;
Never settle for less than you deserve.
