Steps

by Jasmine   Sep 15, 2011

With every one he takes, he pushes past everything that was,
another piece of the world falls behind him, ceasing to exist.
He moves the world.
Walking past the trees, branches bow to his beauty, & take leave in the fall.
If you held his hand you'd understand it feels like flying.
He makes perfect look as easy as his footwork,
& I can't keep my eyes off that smile...
I thought I knew love, once or twice before,
but this must be so much more.
I feel adrenaline every second I'm with him,
nervous.
What i wouldn't do to make him mine.
I love the way the world is when I'm with him,
& it's a place I never want to leave.
I feel like we could have it all,
but to ask for more than that I have now,
would risk losing everything.
I couldn't...
