Bef

This is a story about
A beautiful girl called Beth
As perfect as a spring drought
And I loved her to death

A difficult childhood
She was forced to struggle through
Lost hope to find something good
Gave up on happiness too

Beneath that sad outer shell
Beat a heart that craved love
But on sadness she dwelled
Lost faith in a God above

One day she found a man
Who made her feel good again
Better than anything can
And got addicted then

Now let me explain
For Charlie was his name
Though at first with love he came
Began to meddle with her brain

So all that remained
Was a heart full of pain
Driving her insane
Only herself to blame

It's such a shame
She had to leave this game
Never knowing fame
But she was the brightest flame

Which burns out fastest
Despite her great will power
Failed to pass the test
Of her darkest hour

In the dark she wandered
Like a child in her mind
So she stopped and pondered
But from the truth she was blind

And so the story goes
That she ended her life
Her struggle no one knows
That lead her to the knife.

Here I told a story
About a girl called Bef
Who lost all her glory
When she discovered meph
