These lonely tears...

As I sit, staring out the window
Tears start to fall down my face
Missing your beautiful smile
Longing for your sweet embrace

The tears are starting to choke me
Please tell me why did you run
I told you I would never leave you
Our souls were connected as one

Another lonely night alone
Holding onto your heart tonight
I told you I would take care of it
It has never been out of my sight

I've cherished every moment
Since the night you gave it to me
I promised you I'd always guard your heart
Forever and always, for eternity

My phone rings and it's you calling
Heart pounding, mind racing so
You tell me that you love me so much
And you should have never let me go

I've waited the last year for you to call
I'm lost at words, not sure what to do
I'm sorry that I have to tell you this
But I no longer love you...

    Spectacular :)

    Such strong emotion wanting her to call you wanting you back so badly & finally after she does, you've already moved on.

    Such deep emotion was felt, and you could see everything playing out.
