    Jenni, This was breathtakingly beautiful.

The imagery was so serene and romantic yet heartfelt too, there was sadness yet hope, there were dreams and happiness, this was just like the best thing I've read today!!

I loved everything about this, the gentle structure and simple yet so damn cute wording and just the flow was perrrrfection!!!

    WOW
    Just Wow
    Loved it

    love,
    Tara

Jenni, this is amazing. I think you have done a magnificent job. But sadly I think everyone has beat me to the things I was planning to day. All that I am able to add would be that the flow is excellent, the word choice amazing, and emotion is dead on.

    What should we dream of?
    What can we believe in
    while we're like this?
    We carry through the night,
    unaware of whose hands
    we'll be holding next. Not
    satisfied by being with always
    changing lovers, we never expected
    to leave...

This ^^ personally is my favorite stanza, because it does paint out what most consider to be the truth.

    Once again fantastic job.

Wow, Jenni I loved this poem... It was so interesting to read from the start to the end... I loved the first stanza, it really captivated me and made me want to continue reading. And I think the ending was perfect... I liked that you ended it with the questions, and that the question was the title... It all fit perfectly. I liked the concept you expressed in this poem... How people don't really know what they want sometimes, they dream of things, and things change like loved ones etc... At least that's how I understood. Great job!!!

    "I'm drowsy
    not because of being sleepy,
    but your kiss intoxicates me
and we decide to dream together
    at least once more."

I loved this poem! Amazingly written, I especially like the fourth stanza, since it is so familiar to me.

"It's keeping me up at night
    because I realize that
    I prefer dreams;
    You then return my love."

I loved this part. Because that is how I am a lot. =)
Don't stop writing. :) Your words are beautiful.

I think that this particular poem proved itself. I have been reading your poems, trying to find which ones I adore most to comment apon, and this one stopped me in my tracks. I think that this is more than just a poem, its an actual feeling. Something I see lacking in other poems, I see in this one. Wow Jenni, I have to say you suprice me more and more with each poem I read by you.

    "Can you hear that?
The world is slowly waking up,
but I'd prefer to relish the moment
while we still can. Just stay in bed
a little longer and warp your cuddly arms
    around my dizzy self."

I think that you meant "wrap" instead of "warp" here because warp is kinda like going warp speed into space stuff. Yeah, I just made a lame joke... anyway..

I just thought I'd help you out with that. Other than that another poem beautifully penned by you. :D

    5/5
