Lost Soul

Crystal clear water,
calling my name,
inviting me into the rapids,
to take my life,
fill my lungs up with water,
to end all my misery.

The ghosts across the way
shout
join us so we can play.

The river flows at my feet
should i choose defeat
should i jump in
and drown
just end my life

I'm scared
as evil creeps upon me
whispering take you're life
so that i may have you're soul

Taking one step closer,
feeling the cold blue water splash on my ankles,
a single tear falls down my face,
as i hold my breath,
about to jump in,
to no longer feel this pain.

Jumping in the water,
To spend eternity walking the forest,
reliving each painful memory,
taunting me,
ghosts pulling me back into the rapids,
laughing as a reminder they brought me here,
made me end my life,
underneath the water.

I can see my mistake
a ghost now
living in pain
with no one to see me

Alone i cry
wandering
the foggy forest

asking myself;
why did i decide
to end my life?
(as tears stream down my lost soul)
