Going The Distance

Everyday, regardless if I hesitate to say--
You're on my mind.
I can say I'm over it,
I can say I hate you,
But when push comes to show,
I'm still thinking of you.
You numb me at times,
Even when you're not here.
I let my thoughts of you control everything I do.
Is it love I'm fighting for?
Even if it's sacrificing my happiness too?
The distance complicates the worst.
How do I know if what we have is even true?
Do you actually love me the way I do with you?
