You lied *

by CaramelKisses93   Sep 26, 2011

All I needed was the truth and to hear it from you, but instead you kept it away as if you were afraid of the way that I'd react to what you'd say.
I asked for one thing: for you to be true to when you speak. But you couldn't do that for me. You hide behind your lies like you expect me to see what's inside of you. But I can't and it seems you forget that.
Correct me if I'm wrong and explain if I don't understand, but love was what I thought we had.
It would have only took me a second to snap back to reality from this fantasy that I had of you and me. Only if you'd just open your mouth to tell me.
I just wanted you to be honest with me but you couldn't do it. And I am the only one to blame because how can I have been so stupid to think you weren't the same.
