Perfect Romance

by Jessyka   Sep 26, 2011

I was out with the girls,
Living to the full,
Dancing the night away,
Not planning to pull.

I saw you across the bar,
A quick smile and looked away,
I never thought I'd know you,
But then you came my way.

You bought me a drink,
Asked me to dance,
We laughed and we joked,
Perfect club romance.

You said we should swap numbers,
But I decided its a no,
If I was going to see you again,
Fate would make it so.

Weeks had past,
You were just a distant memory,
Then one day in town,
I see you standing there smiling at me.

Fate bought us together,
Like I said it would,
I gave you my number,
And said to text when you could.

Instantly my phone went,
I couldn't help but smile,
You asked if you could take me out,
In a little while.

I couldn't of been happier,
But what I didn't know,
Is as soon as something happens,
You would just go.

I ended up pregnant,
You never spoke to me again,
We now have a beautiful daughter,
But I don't know where you went.

I want you to meet her,
I'm sure you will love her too,
One day fate will bring you back,
And it will be again, me and you.<3
