Peaceful Forest

by amanda   Sep 27, 2011

The wind rustles through
the tree leaves.

A spot of dappled sun
warms my face.

The grass glistens with
morning dew.

The birds chatter
with perky chirps.

And I look out
through a crack in
this perfect serenity,
and see the city.

A fog of poluted
air hangs in the sky.

Cars swarm in the
morning rush,
blaring thier horns
at each other.

The buildings hiding
the pure sun rise.

I will go back,
but sometimes,
a break
is good.

What beauty you penned, quiet and relaxing is the forest, though it's busy with residents of it's own. How sad we must go back to the polluted places called home.
    Great imagery and flow
