Lonely Love Poem

by Michael D Nalley   Sep 28, 2011

Some of them are wordy, others are blue.
My longer poems remind me of you.
Shortest distance between points is a line.
Yet there's no period that will make you mine.
Dim darkness will grow where the light once went.
As sure as the path of our love is bent.
To be committed to being free.
The loneliest circle that could be.
