Envy

Lying in wait for the right moment to strike
Consuming you whole with one massive bite
This feeling inside eats at your heart
Dragging you deeper into the dark

A flash of green and your going insane
Trying to hide all of your pain
But this feeling conquers every man
Eventually you succumb to this demons plan

Giving birth to dark deeds this feeling coincides
With feelings of lust, gluttony and pride
The thing you want most is just out of reach
You're trying so hard to tame this beast

Green fills your mind fast as a flash
You act on this impulse, starting to dash
You take what is yours, whilst taking her life
Regretting nothing, until you see the knife
