trusting your gut feeling by not doing more with him until you know the 100% truth. Emotion of wanting to trust him, but not being able to flows out of this poem.

I think this poem could be a bit tigthened up, but that's not essential. I like the emotions in this poem because they're really powerful and heartfelt. The speakers descrepance definatly shines through and I like the fact that you were able to decide in the end. I like the simplicity of this poem, it's contrary to the speakers thoughts, which encouraged me to imagine what I'd do if I was in your place, but I guess I'd act just like you would. Well written poem. :)
