Our love defeats the battles life bring,
Strong, true and deep with a hand to hold in everything.
My fortress to keep me safe from verbal stings.
My heart filled with joy as your name, it sings.

I once felt weak and blue,

You make me smile which is true,
as my love for you is a growing cure.

You have healed my heart from the broken pieces,
fitting them back together and covering the creases.

You make my life filled with meaning,
