What you caused.

by Craig   Oct 7, 2011

I saw you walking down the street,
towards me you walk to meet,
your eyes shine like polished obsidian,
your skin a rosy peach,
your hair long and dark braided with beads,
how beautiful you look on that summers eave.
that image stayed with me forever,
even after your broke my heart,
you may have found a new lover,
but his heart was nothing,
for I loved you more than life itself.
Two years I cried over you leaving,
my thoughts turned to darkness,
evil thoughts of revenge filled my life,
revenge on you ruining my life.
But part of me said no,
no to the torment,
no to the torture,
that part of me brought me to the conclusion,
death is my last salvation.
