The Poetess and the lover

by Dr sarat sonowal   Oct 9, 2011

"I lost the keys to tomorrow
I am lost in my today
I broke every heart
So to live tomorrow again"

The story so begins..

With a lover on the bench
The poetess writing her pain
With her shadow on the pane
The lover touched the shadow
And kept and loved for days
Before he died of the curse
The poetess has spelled
But the love of the lover
Had changed all her ways
She laments the curse
That she had spelled
With the dead soul of the lover
She lost the keys to her tomorrow
She broke each heart
Such the curse of the lover
So that the love remains

This is a indeed a very nice love poem. It flows smoothly, enraptures emotions of the reader and the best part:
She lost the keys to her tomorrow

I also wonder if "many", instead of "every" would be a better read for the 3rd line, and "many a" instead of "every" in the 3rd to the last line.
