Prison Walls

by shadows of saber   Oct 10, 2011

The nights darkness enters and at the same time my prison doors shut and locks me in a small room.

The cell is my security and only my will and others who suggest I stay in it is keeping me in.

I feel I am missing out on so much and feel so enclosed in this suffocating room.

I am my own company and even though my love is in the same room as me it feels like he is so far away. .

He battles army's and goes to fantasy lands all in his bedroom.. all by sitting down ... and he rescues girls and kingdoms.. But why not me?

I now know how a bird in a cage feels ... trapped ... hopeless ... craving for freedom ... craving to fly free ... yet you cant ..

You don't know what to do when your out of the cage...

What is happiness when you have hardly experienced it?Do you call for help?

Or do you watch as time slips by?
