Fell Asleep

I've spent the last three months
playing games and tearing people apart
then i met someone
who found it so easy to take my heart

His words could always sway me
because they were little to none
but deep inside i knew
it was a game and he had won

Once again i started to soften up
he was the reason for my smile
then my mind took over
and started pointing out the lies

I always swore it wouldn't happen
i was too careful to let it get by
but somehow he broke in
and took me by surprise

I said I'd never do it
but karma finally caught up
all the games i played
came back to throw me off

I was so careful
said it could never happen to me
but in the end he and karma won
I fell in love
He fell asleep
