Another World

by Renegade Angel   Oct 11, 2011

Floating farther and farther away from the earth
Drifting into a nether reality, and not even hesitating to pull back on my old reality.

Truly,a world of souls so black, could not exist.
I lived in that world. A sea of agony and screams.
A river of blood that flows fresh from the innocent.
It is like Hell, only there is more than one Satan.

Even I could be considered such a fiend. The call of screams and violence that I once used to console.

Earth is cliche, a reputation of hatred, made of nothing but blood and sneers cold and callous.

Another world indeed
Another realm of spawn and hatred.
I can only let go of this reality and wisp away.
Like a strand of hair in a zephyr.

Your poem is presented in a clear and simple form. I love poems presented in such plain fashion. The only thing I would advise to be corrected on this poem is the structure, specifically the length. You could break up some of the lines into separate ones.

    Good piece overall. 5/5

Most of your poems have this dark mood to it. Did you write this from experience or from imagination?

A clear image is projected. We have long labored to build a heaven only to find it populated with horrors. This realm indeed is a hell. So few people genuine. None the less, there is no escape. Be it one hand or a thousand, it makes a difference. Like I always say, if the good days dont prevail, then even the bad ones wont.
