Sadness Is What Love Can Be About Sometimes

Hurt and pain in life
The smile long gone
Sadness from love
When your a pawn

To take a life good
And try to share
Only to find out
Nothing was there

Being played
Like a simple board game
But they don't win
For it can never be the same

It will be long over
And covered up
Dusty and dirty
Empty is the cup

When they discovery
What was really lost
maybe never to understand
what was the true cost

To risk and gamble
Shuffle the heart's deck
When time comes to fold
Nothing left not a speck

It wont matter in time
One day to look back
And know no regrets
No longer feel the smack

Sadness is
What love can be about
Sometimes you think you lose
When it does not work out
