Hello Dear

by ChrisT   Oct 11, 2011

Hello dear
It's me again
The hand that writes
A pain that no one knows
The sorrow that fights
And always grows
I feel home calling me,
Calling me home
To the one I used to be
The place I used to own
Tears fall like the rain
And I only know
Cause of all this pain
That will always show
The hurt in me
The frown that keeps me
The way I can only be
The pain that takes me
Where do I go from here?
The place I've been
Why is it I fear?
The pain that will always win
Tearing me apart
Slowly eating away my heart
Eating me hollow
Like the pills I swallow
I want nothing but this
And all the loneliness
"Cause she the traveler
Meets the dread
Of I the wanderer
Now is dead"
Quoting fame
Just to make my name
Who have I become
No poem or rap to be sung
I'm broken in two
Dreaming of memories
Don't know what to do
But dream of you

Well written, maintained the flow throughout and the rhyme is also good.Addressed simple, but to the point.

Wow... The format was different than a lot of poems but somehow fitting for the essence of this poem. Definitely hit a darker side of sadness.

A well penned poem and one that grabs the reader with full emotional value.
I would edit the strange characters out of this. A small distraction from a good write.
