Life's struggles

When the struggles of life blows your way,
and cast a dark Shadow on your beautiful day,
don't drown yourself in the depths of despair,
just call on Christ Jesus, he is always near.

In every instances of your life you can find,
he is there to bring joy and peace to your mind,
when the enemy of peace comes to you like a flood,
rest assure that you're protected by his precious blood.

In Jesus there is no cause for doubts or fears,
when you cease from crying, it's him who dries up your tears,
my friends, he has brought us this far over the years,
all because he loves us, and, for us he truly cares.

In heaven he has a book that contains our name,
he wrote it, not because we may have wealth or fame,
but, because his holy name we now proclaim,
as the King of Kings, who was nailed to a cross of shame.
