WOW! This sounds just like one f The Script songs. It had so much rhythm, beautiful wording and enticing images.

    FIVE .
    I really like this much.

I really like the title because it's kind of vague and it definately interested me. I have to admit that I missed your poems, especially writes like this. This poem is filled with heartfelt and touching emotions that simply captivate the reader because tehy are also very relateable. It flows smoothly and the rhymes didn't feel forced. Well done, no doubt.

The flow was really good, and I thought you did a great job with the rhymes

As I cry a heartbreaking tear and look up at the stars
I pray that someday somehow you will be back in my arms

^I loved these lines, they ended the poem really well.

My only critique would be again not to capitalise the beginning of lines, it isn't needed and would be easier on the eyes, just a suggestion.

You really showed the love and emotion in this poem, the fact that it was short too really made it flow well.

    Love
    Tara

I can't believe I let you go; I should have made you stay
The hardest thing in my life was watching you walk away
As I cry a heartbreaking tear and look up at the stars
I pray that someday somehow you will be back in my arms
-The pain you feel & regret you have in your heart by letting her go and realizing you never should have is flawless.

This poem is brilliant. The emotion once again is beautiful :)
    5/5

  • I can relate so well to this one it almost made me cry. You have quite a little talent, sir. But you also write a ton more to refine your skills. By no means ever stop, you brought forth a remembrance and a sad time now, yet wonderful at the time.

Aww, this is a sweet, heart-warming poem... I enjoyed it and appreciate your rhymes. Rhyming can be difficult, especially when some rhymes are forced or don't sound as good. Good job with this, it reminded us of sweet memories that many people can relate to. Great job

I liked the poems words, and it's meaning, I thought the imagery was well done. You painted the picture very clearly of what you wanted to say, and the emotions you were feeling. I felt the rhyme scheme was a little off with the couplet at the end of the first stanza and the couplet at the end of the last stanza. All the other rhymes in the poem worked perfectly, but these 2 sets didn't quite fully rhyme as well as some other words you could have chosen. I also felt some of the lines were a little wordy. You could cut out a few words and they might flow better. like the lines

"Lying down holding you close to me
Listening to your heart beat and its perfect melody"

Nice use of the L's at the beginning of each line, it ties them together, but in the second line you could remove the word and so it would be "listening to your heart beat its perfect melody" it comes down to whether you want the heart beat and melody to be 2 separate sounds that you are listening to or if you want it to be just that one perfect sound. Overall a good write though and deep emotion in it. good job.
