Urge Once Again

by Good Enough   Oct 11, 2011

The urge to falter grows by day
My body pleads with the agony
Heart pounding decisions I dare make
To choose to slide my hatred against my will
The hatred I face shows pain and disgust
And I cannot help but finally agree
My taste of addiction was not concurred
Until now, I face the demon again
To see life fall like ice and break
Splatter against faded linoleum

Very well written and very dark! It does have a nice flow to it as well. Well done and I hope you are well,

A truly sad poem, written with a lot of emotional value. Great flow, structure was good
