Face The Day

by Some Random Human   Oct 11, 2011

Drowning in this bottle,
of my own misery,
lived life at full throttle,
now look what it's done to me,
I think it's time I slowed down,
yeah, I could use some rest,
but I am all alone now,
and thinkin' gets me depressed,

But I've been,
breakin' my back,
just to tell you where I'm at,
but I don't like the pain,
and I can't face the day,
breakin' my back,
just to tell you where I'm at,
but I don't like the pain,
and I can't face the day,

I drew a map to show you,
to tell you where I am,
so many doors to go through,
I don't think you'll understand,
well I will try to explain,
with everything I have,
but it is hurting my brain,
there's too much weight on my back,

I'm breakin' my back,
just to tell you where I'm at,
and I don't like the pain,
but I'll learn to face the day,

I've done,
broken my back,
can't tell you where I'm at,
but I don't mind the pain,
'cause I've learned to face the day,
yes I've learned to face the day...
