Mothers Kind Embrace

White clouds cover the sky,
as something catches my eye,
a human form staring right at me,
this calming loving feeling overcomes me,
my mom i realize it is,
watching over me as my guardian angel.

Waiting for the day I join her in heaven,
step through the beautiful pearly gates,
to meet our godly father,
to hear his life stories, to feel his love,
once again be in my mothers kind embrace,
being able to hear her say I Love You.

Feeling all the worries lift off my shoulders,
i hear a silent whisper say everything will be okay,
alone in my backyard, sitting on the chair,
feeling a presence next to me,
my mom appears smiling as real as day,
putting our palms together, the energy overwhelming.

How can you be here i ask,
looking at me she replies,
You need me baby girl,
as a tear falls down my face trying to speak,
i love you mom, i wish you were here for real,
wrapping me in a hug she lets me know,
I'm everywhere you look, but more importantly
she's in my heart.

She needs to go,
dreading saying goodbye once again,
she kisses me on the cheek, wipes away my tear,
tells me everything will be okay,
I'm your guardian angel,
going back up into the sky,
sitting on the clouds watching over me,
i know shes always looking down at me.
