You walked out

by Brook   Oct 12, 2011

Yesterday I thought of you,
Memories flooding in
All the things we use to do,
Dancing and singing our song,
Laughing an talking
Sometimes all night long,
But you walked out,
And left me alone,
In the blink of an eye,
You were gone,
You left me standing
A tear stained face,
You turned and left me
In a dark place,
For years and years
I longed for you,
To come back to me
Make my dreams come true,
But your life seemed better
Happier without me,
It took me forever
But now I can see,
That you were not ever
The man i thought you were,
When you left your family,
All because of her.
